The Macleay is located at 28 Macleay Street Potts Point, 10 km’s North of Sydney Airport. A taxi should cost around $50 to $60.00 and take around 30 minutes depending on traffic. There are a number of private shuttle buses operating from the Airport and they will all stop at the front door of the hotel, We recommend Sydney Shuttle which departs from Bay 12 outside of the International Arrivals Hall every 30 minutes. From Domestic Terminals there are signs at the airport showing the direction to find the shuttle busses. It costs AU$18 per adult and AU$9 per child 2- 12 years one way. The shuttle buses operate to our door via other hotels.Depending on passengers the journey can take up to an hour. There is also a train the last train leaves International Airport at 11.48pm and the Domestic at 11.50pm. The train costs $16.00, you have to change trains at Central Station to go to Kings Cross Station then walk from Kings Cross Station to the hotel, approx. 8 minute walk. Check-in is from 2pm onwards and check-out by 11am. Reception can on most days offer a complimentary late check-out at 12pm. Additional charges apply for late check-out. Should you arrive prior to this and the studio is available, we can check you in. Otherwise, we can hold the luggage in a secure area until the room is ready.
Yes, we have a luggage room and guest bathroom that you can utilise at any time. Officially check out time is 11am and check in time is 2pm. If your room is ready on your arrival we can check you in immediately. If not once the room has checked out we will clean your room as soon as it is vacated and try to have you in an early as possible

During the New Years Eve period The Macleay has a 3-night minimum stay, any 3 nights that incorporate the 31st of December. A $50.00 booking fee per room is charged on receipt of booking, this booking fee is non-refundable if canceled. A non-refundable deposit of one night’s accommodation at the higher New Years Eve rate (less the $50.00 booking fee per room) is charged on the 1st of September, this deposit is non-refundable. The 2nd-night deposit at the higher New Years Eve rate will be charged on the 01st of October, this deposit is also non-refundable. The 3rd-night deposit at the higher New Years Eve rate will be charged on the 01st of November, this deposit is also non-refundable Final payment of the 3 nights at the higher New Years Eve rate will have been made by the 01st of November and is non-refundable. Guests who book our Harbour View Studio Apartment will be issued with an invitation that will allow them access to the hotels' rooftop for the New Year fireworks displays at 9.00pm and 12.00pm. The view from the rooftop is one of the best in Sydney to view the firework display.
