Welcome to The Macleay Hotel Located in the vibrant Potts Point, Sydney, The Macleay Hotel is committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. General Terms:

These terms apply to all guests and visitors of The Macleay Hotel.
The hotel management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason not prohibited by law

2. Reservations and Cancellations:

Guarantee with a Credit Card:

All reservations at The Macleay Hotel must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

To avoid a cancellation fee, guests must cancel their reservation at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in will incur a cancellation fee.

No-Show Policy:

In the case of a no-show, where the guest does not check in and has not cancelled the reservation, the guest will be charged 100% of the accommodation fee for the entire duration of the reservation.

Special Events and Group Bookings:

Please note that special events, holidays, and group bookings may be subject to different cancellation policies. These policies will be clearly communicated at the time of booking and may involve stricter requirements.

Modifications:

Any modifications to reservations, including changes in the length of stay or dates, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Check-In and Check-Out:

Check-in time is from 2:00 PM and check-out time is until 11:00 AM.
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Guest Conduct:

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner conducive to the safety, comfort, and convenience of other guests.
Excessive noise, disturbances, and inappropriate behaviour may result in eviction without refund.

5. Liability and Damages:

The hotel is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
Guests will be liable for any damage caused to the hotel property during their stay.

6. Facilities and Services:

Use of hotel facilities and services, such as the off-site gym and outdoor pool areas, is subject to availability and may have specific terms of use.
Guests must comply with all rules and regulations concerning hotel facilities.

7. Pets and Accessibility:

In compliance with the Strata rules and regulations, pets are not allowed within the hotel premises. The only exception is for guide dogs assisting those with visual or other disabilities.
For any specific accessibility needs or inquiries, please contact the hotel prior to your arrival so we can make the necessary accommodations to ensure a comfortable stay

8. Smoking Policy:

The Macleay Hotel is a smoke-free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and dining facilities.
Designated smoking areas are available for guests’ convenience. These are located outdoors, behind the reception area leading to the outdoor pool and car park, and outside the main entrance of the hotel.
Guests are requested to use these designated areas for smoking to ensure the comfort and health of all guests and staff.
A cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in non-designated areas or any indoor part of the hotel.

9. Privacy Policy:

Personal information collected during booking or stay will be used in accordance with our privacy policy, available on our website.

10. Governing Law:

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

11. Amendments:

The Macleay Hotel reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

12. Credit Card Surcharges:

Payments made using credit cards are subject to a surcharge. The exact percentage of this surcharge depends on the type of card used and is subject to change.
Guests will be informed of the applicable surcharge at the time of booking, either through our website or via direct communication with our reservations staff.
We encourage guests to inquire about the current surcharge rates at the time of booking to ensure clarity and transparency regarding the total cost of their stay.
