Golden Oldies Rugby Sydney Festival 2010

Sydney has won the right to host the Air New Zealand Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival in September and October 2010. The event will be held at Centennial Parklands and is expected to attract between 6,000 and 8,000 participants and deliver $25 million to the NSW economy.

The Parklands cover more than 360 hectares, and there will be provision for over 30 rugby fields within the Parklands. A central hospitality area will be created at the venue providing food and beverage, entertainment, changing facilities, information and Festival merchandising.
